Ingredients

 

90g San Agustin 88 dark chocolate

80g raw cane sugar

60 ml water  * to make it a pourable sauce add an extra 15 ml water

Bowl and 2 saucepans

Method

 

  • Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and gently heat until sugar is melted , stirring occasionally.
  • Put the chocolate in a bowl over gently simmering water and stir as it melts
  • Stir the melted chocolate into the sugar syrup
  • Place in a small bowl and cool before spreading
