Make Your Own Chocolate Spread!

Prep Time:4 minutes
Cooking Time:3 minutes
Serves:230 g

So it turns out that one of the only things kids love more than chocolate spread – is making their own chocolate spread!
Even better that when they make their own there’s no additives and no palm oil It’s only chocolate, and just the right amount of sugar to get it through little peoples’ Quality Control!

Ingredients

90g Chulucanas 70% Dark Chocolate

80g raw cane sugar

60 ml water  * to make it a pourable sauce add an extra 15 ml water

Equipment

Bowl and 2 saucepans

Method

Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and gently heat until sugar is melted , stirring occasionally.

Put the chocolate in a bowl over gently simmering water and stir as it melts

Stir the melted chocolate into the sugar syrup

Place in a small bowl and cool before spreading
